Clear Channel Morning Man Pleads Not Guilty
Shane French, host of "Rover's Morning Glory" on WMMS in Cleveland, is facing over a dozen felony and misdemeanor charges from an altercation he had with off-duty police officer Steven Kinas in July. French was indicted on charges including inducing panic, assault, criminal damaging, and resisting arrest. He pled not guilty to those charges today. French remains on the air at WMMS. According to Cleveland.com, Kinas said he was on his boat, saw fireworks, and found French and another man drunk. They refused to stop shooting fireworks and shot fireworks in his direction. French says that never happened. "I will tell you with 100 percent certainty that when all of these facts are brought to light that I will prevail in this matter and the truth will come out. After that happens, I will take steps to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else."
