Longtime WEEU Morning Man Retires
After nearly 7,100 shows, WEEU's Charlie Adams signed off for the final time Wednesday with a big celebration FirstEnergy Stadium. Over 100 fans, family members, friends and politicians stopped by to hear the final airing of the "Charlie & Company" show according to readingeagle.com. Adams turned 66 on Wednesday. He'll continue writing columns for the Reading Eagle.WEEU-AM is locally owned by the Reading Eagle Company. GM Jo Painter said, "The community has embraced the opportunity to say goodbye and wish him well."
