Nancy Abramson Joins Clear Channel
Clear Channel announced today that radio veteran Nancy Abramson has joined the company in the newly created role of Director, Digital Affiliates for National Media Groups. Abramson, who comes to CCM+E from the Wall Street Journal Radio Network, will be based in New York and report to Julie Talbott, President of Content and Affiliate Services for National Media Groups, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.
Abramson recently resigned her position as the Executive Director at the Wall Street Journal Radio Network. At WSJ she was charged with overseeing affiliate sales and marketing for WSJ and Marketwatch.com content to more than 700 radio partners across the U.S. She was also responsible for leveraging the Dow Jones brands in traditional and digital audio platforms, in addition to program and business development. During her 17 years with the company, Abramson also served as Director of Affiliate Relations and Radio Marketing Manager. Prior to that, Abramson held the role of Manager Network Programming for ABC Radio Networks, where she was responsible for program development and affiliate sales.
