Masters Says America's Morning News Goes On

Talk Radio Network CEO Mark Masters called Radio Ink Thursday to let us know that despite the resignation of John McCaslin, and our earlier story, America's Morning News is still on the air and will continue to be fed to affiliates. He said McCaslin was only an anchor and that a program doesn't go away just because an anchor quits. Masters also told us McCaslin quit without calling him and says it was because a producer resigned to take a job with Clear Channel in L.A. and nobody else knew how to use the equipment to help McCaslin. Masters said, "John got frustrated and quit." He wants the program's 140-plus affiliates to know America's Morning News is still on the air and will still be delivered as they expect it.
