TRN CEO Mark Master Denies Rumors
There's been a lot of speculation about the future of Talk Radio Networks. It all started on Friday when Talkers Magazine sent out a news bulletin entitled "Troubling Times At TRN?" On Sunday, Blogger Rich Lieberman tweeted that TRN shut down this past Friday and an anonymous press release was posted to PR Newswire claiming TRN was not paying its talent. TRN CEO Mark Masters told Radio Ink last night TRN did not shut down and added, "Mark Twain said, 'A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.' That appears to be the case here. Please disregard all harmful rumors. I will make an official statement tomorrow [Monday] that will be truthful and accurate."

This publication is so slavishly devoted to functioning as Mark Masters' personal spin machine I'm actually embarrassed for them.

They better go catch all their employees. They left the building Friday, didn't they? So glad, I didn't sign on in 2012, after CNNRadio bit the dust.
