Jen Brien Named Overnight Host At WBZ

Brien’s program is entitled “The Jen Brien Show,” which will be a mix of pop culture, current events, politics, and the comings and goings of people in New England. Brien replaces Steve LeVeille who retired last year.

With over a decade of experience in radio, Brien joined WBZ from WRKO where she was the weekday talk host of “The Jennifer Brien Show.” She has also hosted shows on WPRO and WHJJ in Providence, and WCOD and WXTK on Cape Cod. After LeVeille’s retirement, Brien would often fill in during the time period, and today’s announcement officially makes the “The Jen Brien Show” WBZ NewsRadio’s overnight talk show. Before beginning her career in radio, Brien spent over five years as a soldier in the United States Army where she was selected for the prestigious “Soldier of the Year” award.

Jen, pay no mind to the negative comments. Personally I looked forward to your show and miss you already. Many hours I've enjoyed your hearing your take on lifes ups and downs. Hope I will be in the listening area for your next venture! Be well....hear you soon!

So what we have here is an employee who doesn't show up for work, shows up late for work, and has excessive absences in the first several months of full time employment. Several nights were spent holding an on air wake for Peggy, with many callers providing counseling to Jen. We have also been subjected to let's find Jen a new town, new apartment, roommate, and homes for her dogs.
