Baisden: "Cumulus Locked Me Out."

Apparently Michael Baisden and his syndicator, Cumulus Media Networks, have parted ways. Neither side has confirmed that as of yet. According to Baisden's Facebook page, the two sides couldn't come to an agreement and Cumulus locked him out nine days before his contract expired. "In the words of Rodney King, 'Can't we all get along?' Just because we couldn't come to an agreement is no reason to deprive the listeners, our affiliates, and our advertisers of only nine days to say goodbye and show our appreciation."

(3/21/2013 2:22:10 PM) Welcome to the hight of Professionalism. These guys pride themselves in "Taking People Out". Kinda like the MOB. They are Ruthless. Use people up and toss them out like and empty beer can. No regard or caring about individuals, families, loyalty? No Pay, No Benefits, No reimbursements. The Cumulus sales staff all drive Hoopties. $1500 a month "draw against commission", NO ACCOUNTS, ALL developemental business. They want your "sphere of influence". Once they have it, you are no longer needed. They have taken all the "Billing Accounts" off the floor, assigned them to a Key Accounts Rep and pay them a meager salary plus 1 1/2%. There is NO MEAT left on the BONES. Sorry Michael, they treat their 'Talent" the same way. You HAD the ONLY decent show in our cluster. |
