Agent To The Stars to Keynote Sports Conference

Agents have always been key players in the hugely high-stakes world of sports, behind the scenes -- and sometimes front and center. At Radio Ink's Sports Radio Conference, legendary sports agent Drew Rosenhaus will keynote, with the inside scoop on this crucial, often surprising area of the sports industry.

Rosenhaus will share his stories and experiences as an aggressive (some would say notorious) advocate for a roster of more than 100 NFL players -- his Miami-based Rosenhaus Sports Representation represents more NFL players than any other agency. You'll hear about the connection between agents and media, and about his own interactions with the media as a high-profile agent and newsmaker -- along with his perspective as a media personality himself: Rosenhaus is a frequent national commentator on sports issues who's been heard from on ABC Primetime Live, ABC Nightline, ESPN's Pardon the Interruption and Inside the Lines, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, and elsewhere. He's the only agent ever to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Rosenhaus, who began his career in 1989 at age 22 (he was the youngest registered agent at the time), has negotiated more than $2 billion in NFL contracts. He's had a high public profile for years and embraces his image as a fierce negotiator; his autobiography, released in 1998, is titled A Shark Never Sleeps: Wheeling and Dealing with the NFL's Most Ruthless Agent. He was a consultant to the movies Jerry Maguire (rumors are the character Bob Sugar was based on Rosenhaus) and the football drama Any Given Sunday.

If you're talking about sports, sooner or later you'll be talking about Drew Rosenhaus. Don't miss this chance to hear from the storied agent himself.
