Senate Introduces Local Radio Freedom Act

It's called Senate Concurrent Resolution 6, the Local Radio Freedom Act, and it was introduced yesterday by Senators John Barrasso (R-Wyoming) and Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D). It comes on the heels of the House resolution which was introduced last month by Representatives Michael Conaway (R-Texas) and Gene Green (D-Texas). The Senate Bill says any new performance fees would be a hardship on radio and hurt business and the consumer in the United States. Read the entire bill HERE
