WFUV Names New Lineup

Noncomm WFUV/New York makes interim morning personality Corny O'Connel official, and puts WDST/Woodstock, NY, MD/air personality into middays. Darren DeVivo takes over in evenings. Additionally, assistant MD Russ Borris moves up to MD, a job that opened up when Rita Houston became WFUV's PD.
"With these changes, one of the nation's most significant sources for musical discovery just got even better," WFUV GM Chuck Singleton said. "We're very pleased to see Corny in this new role. He's been such an invaluable member of the FUV team in so many ways."
O'Connell joined WFUV back in 1989, when he was a student at Fordham Law School. Carmel Holt has been with WDST since 1995, and said she is "honored and beyond excited to be joining the FUV team." Borris arrived at the station as AMD in 2001, and DeVivo goes all the way back to 1984 with WFUV, also joining the staff in his student days.
