Auto Sales Should Be Strong In February

2-26-2013

General managers always like to hear good news coming from the auto industry. Stopsets with back-to-back-to-back auto spots is like a cash register ringing in their ear. Automotive sales for the month of February, according to Reuters, should be more good news from that segment.

Reuters reports U.S. auto sales in February are expected to show a fourth-straight month of seasonally adjusted annualized sales above 15 million vehicles for the first time since early 2008. Forty-one analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters forecast on average a 4 percent rise in February sales, to an annualized rate of 15.1 million vehicles. The forecasts ranged from 14.9 million to 15.75 million vehicles, on an annualized basis.
