When WFUV General Manager Chuck Singleton went looking for a new program director, he didn’t have to go far. Singleton named WFUV’s longtime music director, Rita Houston, to the position which has been vacant since Singleton’s elevation to general manager last June. WFUV in New York is a noncommercial, member-supported radio station, licensed to Fordham University for 65 years.
