CRS Announces Details For UMG Luncheon


Wednesday’s “Team UMG at the Ryman” luncheon will feature artists from the Universal Music Group roster. Artists set to perform include Billy Currington, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Josh Turner, Kacey Musgraves, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Scotty McCreery, Vince Gill and others. The luncheon will be held at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 27 and a box lunch will be provided.
On Thursday, Feb. 28, the Capitol and MCA Records Luncheon will take place in the Convention Center’s Performance Hall.  MCA’s Gary Allan will headline the show and Capitol’s Jon Pardi is scheduled to open.
Gary Allan recently celebrated a No. 1 album and No. 1 single when his ninth studio album Set You Free topped the Billboard Top 200 and Billboard Country album charts the same week he earned his fifth No. 1 single with “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain).”
Northern California native, Jon Pardi released his hit single “Missin’ You Crazy” last year from his upcoming debut album.  His next single “Up All Night” will be released to Country radio this month.
Capitol Record’s Little Big Town is also confirmed to kick off the seminar with a performance of the national anthem at the opening ceremonies on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. The group will be accompanied by the U.S. Marine color guard.
Friday, Feb. 15 is the deadline to purchase $499 regular rate registrations for CRS 2013, held Feb. 27-Mar. 1. The on-site rate of $599 will take effect Feb. 16th.  In addition, the $99 unemployment rate will also expire and no longer be available.
