Former Viacom President Passes
Veteran broadcaster and author Brian Bieler has died at the age of 70. He was battling cancer at the time of his passing. Bieler had a career spanning over 45 years, most notably as President of Viacom Radio in the 1980s. In addition to being a turnaround and startup specialist with both public and private broadcast companies and stations in Miami, Orlando, Honolulu, D.C., Phoenix, and Viacom stations across America, Bieler also authored several books.
He is survived by his wife Ann, sons Drew and Jeff, daughter Danielle, and several grandchildren.
