Caroline Beasley Becomes Honorary Trustee

That announcement comes from The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation. The organization said, "With a respect for tradition and an extraordinary talent for business and finance, Caroline Beasley has played a major role in shaping the company founded in 1961 by her father."
Beasley said, “This is an incredible honor for me. I’m grateful to the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation for the invitation to join such a distinguished group of broadcasting and entertainment professionals. AWM plays a vitally important role in advocating and advancing women in media; I admire their past contributions and accomplishments and very much look forward to helping them ensure that this important mission and message resonates well into the future.” Beasley serves as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of the Naples, Florida-based Beasley Broadcast Group. She joined the family business in 1983.
