Lazer Antenna Draws Lawsuit
A citizens group is suing San Bernardino County and Lazer Broadcasting over a 43-foot-tall radio antenna the Board of Supervisors approved for a ridgeline overlooking Wildwood State Park in Yucaipa. The Citizens for the Preservation of Rural Living says the county failed to comply with state environmental laws.
The group says the antenna obstructs the pristine landscape and a view of a park. According to a report in The Sun, Lazer says the Pisgah Peak location, already approved by the FCC, is the only location that will allow the broadcaster to expand its listener base from roughly 191,000 to more than two million.
