Dubay Back After 2008 Cocaine Arrest

1-14-13

TwinCities.com reports Jeff Dubay (pictured) has been hired by Hubbard to co-host the 9 a.m.-noon shift on 1500-AM ESPN with Judd Zulgad. The new show will be called "Judd and Dubay." Dubay was arrested for possession of crack cocaine and fired from KFAN in 2008. His new gig pits him against his former radio partner Paul Allen.

Hubbard market manager Dan Seeman told Radio Ink last night, "We've been meeting with Jeff the past year and a half. We know he has the ability and we know he has the equity in the market. After meeting with him a few weeks ago we thought he was mentally and physically healthy and ready for a try-out. He sounded great with Judd and earned his shot at the co-host job. We think he is going to be a great addition to 1500 ESPN."
