The Detroit Free press reports WNIC-FM morning show co-host Renee Vitale and WKQI-FM PD Nick Craig have both been fired. Vitale told the paper, “All I’ve known is radio. Radio is my passion; I love what I do. But, this is the reality of the industry, the part that is really hard.” Craig spent 11 years with the company and was told Monday that he was being let go because the station was going in a different direction.
