Former Entercom Employee Killed In Mall Shooting

Former Entercom employee Steve Forsyth (pictured) was one of the two people killed in a Portland, Oregon, mall by 22-year-old Jacob Tyler Roberts who also killed himself. Mr. Forsyth recently opened a kiosk in the mall which was near the Macy's where the shootings took place. He also owned a marketing agency in Portland. Mr. Forsyth was shopping with his wife and two kids when he was killed. Entercom CEO David Field said, “We are heartbroken. This senseless, tragic murder struck down a truly wonderful human being in the prime of his life. Steve was a highly talented man with a zest for life and a terrific sense of humor. He loved his family dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and all of those who loved him.”

Here is a statement from the Forsyth family: "Steven Mathew Forsyth was a loving husband, father of two children, son, brother, uncle, youth sports coach and friend to the many people who had the privilege to meet him. Steve was one of the most passionate people with a true entrepreneurial spirit that drove him  to start his business, Coastoms. He had a great sense of humor and a zest for life. He had vision and a belief in others that brought great joy and value to many lives. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him."
