CBS Closes on The Former WRXP

CBS Radio has closed on its purchase of WRXP (101.9) which is now WFAN-FM in New York.  The station features a simulcast of Sports Radio 66 WFAN-AM. CBS purchased the station for $75 million from Merlin Media and began the simulcast under an LMA last month. WFAN-AM celebrated its 25th anniversary this past July.
