Leykis Brags About His Online Numbers
Like Pandora, Tom Leykis is feeding the public his numbers. Leykis, who is now heard online only, says during the month of October over 157,000 people sampled his show, according to Triton. And, also just like Pandora, Leykis enjoys comparing himself to terrestrial radio. “It's great to have accreditation for what we're doing. Everyone else who does a show on the Net brags about having hundreds of thousands of listeners, but they never put their money where their mouth is. In fact, we have more monthly cumulative listeners than six LA/Orange County terrestrial radio stations on a 24/7 basis.”
Leykis debuted on April 2 after a 37-month hiatus from radio. The Tom Leykis Show (http://www.blowmeuptom.com) is broadcast live Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. PT and can be heard on a 24/7 streamed replay as well as through virtually all the major media players: TuneIn, Windows Media Player, iTunes, iPhone, Winamp, and Shoutcast. It's available free to all listeners while a podcast of the show is available where shows are archived and categorized, along with exclusive audio content all heard in a 128K CD-quality live stream for a nominal monthly fee. Leykis is the most intelligent suave, and entertaining voice in the media, people who never had access to him or his show are now able to hear his completely one of a kind and persuasive voice, anywhere they are, and discover his innovative creativity and knack for business and money,I'm done with terrestrial radio, and a lifelong fan, and I am above intelligent.

That's still only 5 thousand people a day. Some of the idiot teens on youtube who have channels get that.
