Broadcasters Foundation Ready to Help
Broadcasters Foundation President Jim Thompson says the organization is ready to help broadcasters if something happens to them during the upcoming storm. The BFoA responded rapidly to the deadly tornadoes across the mid-west last year with $41,000 in emergency grants almost immediately after the tornadoes hit.
Emergency grants can be used to buy food, clothing and even emergency shelter, especially for broadcasters suffering substantial and even catastrophic loss in the wake of the storm. Broadcasters (and even association execs) may apply for an emergency one-time $1,000 grant by contacting Jim or his staff. As you know, Jim's dedicated team reviews and responds to emergency grant applications quickly and with unmatched compassion.
