CBS Flips "DAVE" to Sports in Atlanta

Wednesday afternoon, 92.9 in Atlanta officially dumped the "DAVE" format for sports, giving CBS another all local sports talk station. 92-9 The Game (WZGC-FM) will feature locally produced programs, sports headlines every 20 minutes and play-by-play coverage. It also gives CBS another major market outlet (Atlanta is Arbitron market number 9) to distribute the CBS sports network product its launching in January. Here is the new lineup for the station.

6:00-10:00 a.m.: “Opening Drive” w/Rick Kamla, Randy Cross and CJ Simpson – NBA-TV host Rick Kamla, along with three-time Super Bowl champion and CBS Sports analyst Randy Cross and former Atlanta radio host CJ Simpson anchor the station’s line-up, and will kick-off morning drive with a smart and entertaining program.
10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.: Jerome Jurenovich and Jamie Dukes – Jerome Jurenovich, familiar to fans of the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Braves pre- and post-game shows, is teamed with Jamie Dukes, the former NFL offensive lineman that called Atlanta home for roughly seven years while playing for the Falcons.
2:00-6:00 p.m.: ”GAME TIME” Carl Dukes, Kordell Stewart and Rachael Baribeau – Experienced sports radio broadcaster Carl Dukes and Kordell Stewart, best known for his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and named one of the most versatile men in NFL history by the NFL Network will discuss the day’s trending stories and preview the night’s upcoming matchups with Rachael Baribeau, radio host, reporter and anchor.
6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m.: Mac & Jason At Night - We’re changing the way Atlanta listens to sports talk radio with a combination of great personalities.  Mac McDonald has been in the business for over 40 years covering college and pro sports along the East Coast.  Jason Goff, a long time personality on Chicago’s 670 The Score, brings a youthful, laid back, candor to the South.  Having a good time will always be a priority, but we’ll talk seriously about all things sports both nationally and locally!
10:00 p.m. -2:00 a.m.: “OVERTIME” w/Jim Murray
2:00 a.m. -6:00 a.m.: The Mitch Evans Experience
