Lotus Comes up HUGE For Local Hospital
Congratulations to Lotus Communications in Bakersfield for being nationally recognized for its support of the Children’s Miracle Network. Lotus received the “Most Innovative Practice” award for having the most successful and innovative fundraising campaign. Despite Bakersfield being ranked the fourth-poorest city in the nation, Lotus’ radiothon raised nearly $80,000 in pledges and donations that will directly benefit their local Mercy Memorial Hospital and its efforts to save premature babies.
Lotus Bakersfield stations include: ESPN Deportes KWAC-AM, Spanish Ranchera KCHJ-AM, Spanish Regional Mexicana KIWI-FM, Adult Spanish Hits KPSL-FM, and Classic Hits KVMX-FM.
Lotus Communications is one of the largest privately owned Radio Station Groups in the United States. It was founded in 1962 by Howard A.
