We've Solved The Ad Insertion Clunkiness
STREAMON says it has created a new technology that puts an end to the problems radio stations are having with ad-insertion. Many stations are dealing with clunky transitions with spots running into music, ads being cut off and other issues that make a radio station stream sound very unprofessional. The folks at STREAMON say new patent-pending technology they've created will result in totally clean transitions and they are willing to give several radio stations the technology for free to prove their case. Here is STREAMON CTO Andrew Snook.

For those inquiring about the state of our Transition Detection algorithm, we have built and tested it using recorded audio from among the 265 radio stations that we provide streaming for. Although it is not yet being used in production, we have seen some very good results with real-world data, across a variety of stations formats.
We are currently taking on a limited number of beta clients to begin using the product. You can enrol in the beta program here:

Not sure this will work with Talk Radio. Is there a station using it?
