Is Clear Channel Eyeing Pandora?
A report by Bloomberg News says Clear Channel -- as well as Google and Amazon -- may have Pandora on their "takeover wish list" as Apple is rumored to be moving toward launching an Internet radio service.
The report notes that Pandora's revenue is projected to increase by 214 percent in the next two years, and its current stock price -- down 34 percent from its IPO -- could make it a good deal, and cites analysts who say that if Apple enters the streaming market, that "may compel Google or Amazon to snap up Pandora's 150 million registered users to offer the service on mobile devices."
Clear Channel, meanwhile, could "consider Pandora a way to reignite growth"; CC has about 17 million registered users on its own iHeartRadio.

Let's just say C.C. wanted to add Pamdora to their roster. Given that they are already 20 Billion U.S. dollars in debt, I have to wonder whose money will they use to make the purchase.
