Northern Lights Brings in Michael Steele

Steele (pictured) begins as Ops Manager for Northern Lights in Minneapolis on October 2nd. He'll be leaving the Billy Bush program where he was head of Programming and Marketing to work for the local station owners in Minnesota.
Senior VP/GM Sam Elliot Gagliardi tells Radio Ink, “I’ve known of Michael and his work for a long time and have admired what he's accomplished. His diverse music background and work with major talent match up perfectly with what our plans are for K-TWIN. I truly feel we have a unique opportunity here in Minneapolis to do some things differently and that appealed to Michael – we are locally owned, willing to take risks and are committed to truly being the hometown radio station. I can’t wait for him to start.”
