Alan Burns to Unveil Data at Radio Show

Alan Burns & Associates will team with Triton Digital for a presentation called "Radio Tomorrow" at the Radio Show this Friday. Burns says, “One of those challenges is the mindset of people in the ad agency community. This data clearly shows that people who work in advertising think of and use media - especially radio - differently than most consumers, in ways that aren’t favorable to radio. Friday’s presentation will document how agency folks differ from the consumers they want to reach, and we think the findings will be very useful for radio sales.”
The presentation will include results of a national poll of over 25,000 consumers and will focus on using today’s media usage and consumer attitudes to peer into radio’s future. The session will, among other things, document radio’s strengths versus other media, show what in-car internet penetration will mean to radio, whether radio is likely to remain an effective advertising medium, and what radio’s three biggest challenges are. The session will be presented Friday September 21 at 10:30 as part of the NAB/RAB Advertising and Research track.
