Zuck Says Big Mobile Revenue is in His Future

Speaking publicly for the first time since the Facebook IPO, CEO Mark Zuckerberg, appearing at TechCrunch Disrupt, said people are underestimating how well the company is doing in mobile. "We already see that mobile users are more likely to be daily active users than desktop users."

Advertising Age reports that Zuckerberg predicts Facebook will eventually make more money on mobile than it does off the PC. eMarketer predicts Facebook will earn $4.2 billion from advertising in 2012. While mobile revenue accounts for just 2 percent of 2012 revenue, it will grow to 7 percent of Facebook's predicted $5.5 billion in display revenue in 2013.
