How often have we heard an advertiser say, I don't need to reach your listeners that are 45 minutes away from me"? What if you could sell your clients a program that would send coupons directly to the smartphones of consumers driving in the immediate vicinity of their business. That's what Best Buy is doing with help from a mobile marketing company called Spotzot. Spotzot's CEO Bobby Jadhav tells Fast Company that the difficulty of getting in-store promotion information to customers spurred the creation of SpotAds.
