TRN'S Phil Hendrie A Busy Man
Talk Radio Network's Phil Hendrie isn't slowing down at all these days. In addition to his radio show, Hendrie stays very busy with numerous TV projects. Hendrie has had a reoccurring role in the TV series "New Girl" as Joe Napoli. The show revolves around a young woman living with three single men. Hendrie is also set to appear in "This is 40," a “sort-of sequel” movie to "Knocked Up." "Knocked Up" was the 2007 mega hit from writer and director Judd Apatow. The movie is scheduled to debut in December.
In another movie, "Last Call," Hendrie plays the part of Mulvahill in a story about underachieving siblings who are forced to run the family pub to save their eccentric uncle from jail time and financial ruin. In the cartoon TV series "Napoleon Dynamite," Hendrie has been in six episodes as various characters: Art Doodle, Old Owl Judge, Mr. Masthead, and Doctor Jeff. "Napoleon Dynamite" the TV Series follows the misadventures of an awkward high school teenager and his quirky friends as they struggle to navigate life in rural Idaho. It's based on the hit move. Hendrie also plays Booker Bell in the TV series "Modern Family." The show centers on three different, but related, families and the trials they face in each of their own uniquely comedic ways.
