Sid Rosenberg Out. Dan Sileo In at WQAM.

Sileo started off his first show Wednesday by saying this was what he's been working his entire broadcast life for, an opportunity to work in the city he loves. Sileo is a former Miami Hurricane. Beasley Miami Market Manager Joe Bell tells Radio Ink Sid Rosenberg is no longer employed by WQAM. He was reportedly arrested for DUI last week. And, Bell says Sileo (pictured), formerly of WDAE Tampa, was hired to replace Rosenberg in the 3-7PM slot on the sports talker. Sileo was recently fired by Clear Channel. The real reason he was released is still unclear.

Bell said, I am excited about Dan joining WQAM. I have followed his career in Tampa and Orlando for a number of years and Im a big fan of his work.  He has a documented history of ratings success,  hes a passionate sports fan and hes a Miami guy, having been a part of two national championship football teams at the University of Miami."
