D.C. Has New Spanish-Language Station Called Romantica 900am

WILC Romantica 900am, Washington D.C.'s newest Spanish-language radio station debuted today, March 14 at 6:00 a.m.  Romantica 900am entertains and informs audiences with the best Spanish-language adult contemporary music playing today's top hits as well as popular music from the eighties and nineties.  

Beyond its musical palette, Romantica 900am contains a mixture of newsbreaks, interviews and special features that are relevant to the Hispanic community.   Station Manager Giovanna Salazar said "we're very proud of Romantica 900am and the important contributions it will make to entertain and inform the local Hispanic community. Our goal is for the station to be distinctive and compelling."
