Metro Traffic Takes Chris Berry From ABC. Hires as New SVP of Metro Source.

The Berry resume is a long one. He spent the last 14 years at the Walt Disney Company’s radio properties. During that time he served as Vice President, Radio for ABC News in New York where he was responsible for all domestic and international news gathering and programming for the ABC Radio Network. He also served as President, General Manager of News/Talk WMAL, Washington and most recently 710 ESPN, Los Angeles.
Prior to joining ABC in 1996, Berry had various management roles at CBS Radio, including Director of News and Programming at WBBM Chicago, and Executive Producer at CBS Radio Washington. Chris began his radio career as a news writer at KNX Los Angeles and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. He is a former Board Member of the Radio and Television News Directors Association and is the recipient of numerous broadcasting and journalism awards, including Radio and Records “News Talk Executive of the Year”.
