Former Congressman Foley Loses Bid to Purchase WRMF in Palm Beach

The Palm Beach Post is reporting former Republican Mark Foley has failed in his attempt to purchase WRMF in that city. The paper reports that Dean Goodman a one-time exec at Paxson will purchase the station for about $16 million. Goodman lives in West Palm. In 2002 Jim Hilliard sold the station to a Boston group for $70 million. Foley, who left Congress due to scandal could not raise enough money to buy the station.
