Geico, H&R Block Tops In National Spots

January 31, 2011: Geico led among radio's national advertisers for the week of January 24-30, reports Media Monitors in its latest "Radio Spot Ten" rundown. The insurance giant, running 44,053 spots, was followed by tax preparer H&R Block, with 36,189 spots on the air as income-tax season gets underway. In third for the week was AutoZone, airing 25,608 commercials.

McDonald's came in fourth, with 24,790, followed by another seasonal advertiser, TurboTax software, airing 24,081 radio spots for the week.

Media Monitors also took a look at Internet providers advertising nationally for the week of January 24-30:
