Crook & Chase Countdown Reaches 200 Affiliates
March 17, 2010: The Crook & Chase Countdown reaches 200 affiliates as it adds Clear Channel's KNIX/Phoenix. The Nashville-based top 30 countdown, hosted by Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase and syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks, airs from 6-10 a.m. Sundays local time.
Crook and Chase hosted This Week in Country Music on cable's Nashville Network for 16 years and have also hosted the Crook & Chase Show, Crook & Chase Tonight, Today's Country, and several other cable shows, along with awards shows and specials. They launched The Crook & Chase Countdown in 1989 with TNNR, and, after stints with Jones and USRN, it was added to the Premiere lineup in October 2009.
