Morris Named President At Harris

February 9, 2010: P. Harris Morris moves up at Harris Corp., becoming president of the company's broadcast communications business. He was most recently VP/GM of broadcast communications' media and workflow areas.
"I am pleased to have Harris Morris stepping into the role of president of broadcast communications," Harris Chairman/President/CEO Howard Lance said. "As vice president of our media and workflow business, he has spearheaded our strategy of taking existing hardware and software applications and developing new technology to address emerging media markets like digital out-of-home networks."
Morris has been with Harris since 2008; before that he was chief strategy office for the Thomson Learning Division of Thomson Corp and spent 13 years as a partner and VP at Bain & Co.
