Connoisseur Buys Three From Cherry Creek

November 17, 2009: Connoisseur Media and Cherry Creek Radio have signed an asset purchase agreement under which, through a related party, Connoisseur will acquire Talk KBLG-AM, Classic Rock KRKX-FM, and Alternative KRZN-FM (The Zone)/Billings, MT.

Connoisseur will take over programming for KRZN and KBLG on November 20 and for KRKX on December 1. The company already owns Top 40 KPLN (106.7 the Planet) and Classic Hits KWMY (My 105.9) in the market.

"We are extremely excited to begin working with such heritage radio stations, and Connoisseur Media looks forward to bringing to them the same passion we have for My 105.9 and Planet 106.7," Connoisseur GM Cam Maxwell said.

Cherry Creek President/CEO Joe Schwartz said, "The Billings market needed a consolidation of ownership to reduce the amount of clusters in the market. We're pleased that our good friends at Connoisseur had the interest and resources to take on the stations and to continue serving the community. We wish them the best of luck in the future."

Kalil & Co. was the exclusive broker on the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed.
