Kepler To Buy Out CC's Share Of Broadcast Architecture

November 11, 2009: Broadcast Architecture is soon to be fully in the hands of President Allen Kepler, as Clear Channel agrees to sell him its interest in the content, research, and consulting firm. Kepler will take full ownership as of January 1, 2010.

Kepler said, "I'm deeply grateful to [Clear Channel Radio SVP] Tom Owens, [Clear Channel Radio President/CEO] John Hogan, and the management at Clear Channel for this extraordinary opportunity. While we'll miss being part of the CC family, we welcome the broad possibilities going forward with all of our radio partners, including Clear Channel."

Owens said, "Allowing Allen to acquire BA was a perfect solution to Clear Channel's desire to transition from a fixed to variable cost of research while providing Allen and his excellent team an opportunity to expand their service to other content providers without restriction."

Broadcast Architecture was founded in 1988.
