Jaguar XJ To Feature Standard HD Radio

September 23, 2009: Jaguar Land Rover North America will offer HD Radio as a standard feature in Jaguar's flagship luxury sport sedan, the 2010 Jaguar XJ. The 2010 XJs are available for order now and will be in dealerships early next year.

The Jaguar XKR sports car and XFR sports sedan will also offer standard HD Radio; they're on sale now.

"Jaguar's enthusiasm and continued support for HD Radio broadcasts emphasizes the great value proposition associated with the technology," said Jaguar North America VP/Marketing Paul Faletti. "There is no other digital entertainment source that provides drivers with the best in digital sound and a variety of new FM channels, all with no subscription fees."

Jaguar has been offering HD in some models since 2007 and made it a factory-installed option in 2009 for the 2010 line.

It's about time. The least you can expect when you're buying a $50K+ vehicle. As much as I love BMW, its crazy to pay so much more for the extras that really shouldn't be extras considering the price starting point.
