Talk Shows USA Syndicates Ferguson

September 15, 2009: Talk Shows USA has signed a deal with ICON Radio Network to represent and syndicate The Ben Ferguson Show. The pop culture and political talk show airs Sunday nights from 7-10 p.m. ET and has about 50 affiliates in place.

"I've watched the progress of Ben's show over the past few years, and I'm amazed at what he's been able to accomplish in the broadcast world," said Talk Shows USA chief Skip Joeckel. "He started out on the air at 13, and now at the ripe young age of 28 continues to not only impress me, but also program directors and listeners all across the country."

Reflecting on Ben Ferguson's talk show on 100.3 where he debated publicity hungry Muslims, here is a comment from Belmont Club's Wretchard that I feel resonates with me:
The basis for Islamic extremism is not the Kaaba, it is the idea of fundamentalism. The attack on the enemy’s sacred totem does not consist of offing this imam or that imam, blowing up that mosque or shrine. Attacking their values means debating with them. Or more precisely by unequivocally establishing that they are the legitimate subject of debate.
