Crowley Ends Weekday Show, Weekend Show Continues

NEW YORK -- July 22, 2009: Monica Crowley will wrap up her three-hour weekday show on Talk Radio Network Entertainment, due to increasing time demands for television appearances and other responsibilities. The daily show had been on more than 20 stations.

The weekend Monica Crowley Show will continue without interruption on its more than 120 affiliates.

"Monica's daily show has been a wildly successful entry into the talk radio market," said TRN-E CEO Mark Masters. "Her daily program, which was broadcast in four of the top 10 markets in the United States and well over 20 stations overall, brought entertainment and information to a whole new audience, with wit and style that made her indispensable to her listeners. Monica remains one of the most successful female talk show hosts on the air. We wish her only success in her television career, and we are proud to continue syndicating her tremendous weekend show, which currently has over 120 affiliates."

Crowley said, "While my weekday radio show was a true labor of love, I have been overwhelmed with some special opportunities to do other things, including television and publishing. I am truly looking forward to continuing my radio career with TRN-E on the weekend program as I pursue all of these exciting and new avenues."

Crowley is a regular panelist on The McLaughlin Group and a Fox News analyst. She appeared at Radio Ink's Forecast '09, interviewing U.S. News & World Report Publisher Mort Zuckerman.
