Mike Huckabee To Keynote Forecast 2010

NEW YORK -- June 22, 2009: "Huckabee Report" host, former Arkansas Governor and 2008 presidential candidate Mike Huckabee will deliver a keynote address at Radio Ink's Forecast 2010, set for December 8 at the Harvard Club in New York.

Huckabee, who is also a commentator for Fox News, is a sought-after speaker who is sure to have a great deal to say about the role of media in public life and the future of the radio industry.

"Gov. Huckabee brings a refreshing insight to any discussion, and we look forward to having him keynote at Forecast '10," said Radio Ink Publisher Eric Rhoads. "His experience as a governor, political commentator, and author should provide fascinating perspective in these challenging times."

Huckabee, who led Arkansas from 1996-2007, sought the Republican presidential nomination in 2008, making a strong showing before bowing out to support John McCain. And he's still active in politics, with his HuckPac political action committee.

Huckabee's known as a passionate political commentator, and has said his early experience as a Baptist pastor has given him a deep awareness of the problems faced by individuals and families. He has stirred debate regularly on everything from immigration to religion to weight loss.

Huckabee is also the author of six books, most recently the best-selling Do the Right Thing. And he's involved in new media, with an active presence on Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.
