Miami Vice: WQAM Talker Unintentionally Works Blue

Miami – May 22, 2009: Neil Rogers of Beasley’s WQAM Miami got himself a two-day suspension this week after dropping an “F-bomb” while on-the-air during the reading of a listener's e-mail.

The "Miami Herald" reports that Rogers' lawyer said the Talk host was ''technically suspended'' after QAM's seven-second system delay failed to work properly and the obscenity made its way out over the airwaves.

Attorney Norman Kent added, ''It's a mess that WQAM has to deal with, and basically they're just giving Neil three days off with pay because of their own snafu.”

Kent summed up by saying of his client, ''Neil appreciates the three days off and thanks WQAM for the opportunity to have more vacation.''
